
Mere Benefits Joins Nassau County Chamber of Commerce
Jacksonville, FL – August 22, 2025 – Mere Benefits is proud to announce its membership with the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce, expanding its commitment to serving Nassau County residents, families, and businesses.
Founder Kate Spilsbury, CMIP®, RSSA®, and licensed insurance broker since 2007, has been active in Nassau County since 2013 through her previous work and community involvement. A graduate of Leadership Nassau Class 17, Kate launched Mere Benefits in 2017 with the mission to simplify health insurance and provide trusted guidance at no cost to the community. In addition to health insurance, Kate is a Registered Social Security Analyst®, helping individuals optimize their Social Security decisions. She is also the author of Get It Right: Medicare and Social Security Unlocked.
Kate is joined by team member Worley Richards, who brings her own experience serving Nassau County residents through her work at a local primary care facility dedicated to seniors. Together, Kate, Worley, and the MereCare service team provide over 40 years of combined licensed experience.
Mere Benefits specializes in Medicare, Marketplace coverage, self-employed health plans, and group benefits. As a full-service brokerage, the agency works with most major insurance companies to offer unbiased guidance. The firm also provides hands-on support through its MereCare team, assisting with claims, provider access, and other insurance challenges.
